This half term we have enjoyed going down into the forest school area. Down in forest school the children are curious and interested to explore in nature. One activity in particular the children have enjoyed doing down in forest school is a minibeast hunt. The children work hard together to go and search for minibeasts under the logs. 

Another way to promote understanding the world in our setting is water play. We make sure that all our children have access to water play - investigating low level technology such as washing, cleaning and transporting water using funnels.
